Conor Mahoney is a retired Marine master sergeant with 21 years of military service supporting special operations and Marine expeditionary operations including multiple combat deployments during the Global War on Terror and Operations Enduring Freedom, Iraqi Freedom, and Inherent Resolve. His final assignment prior to retirement was as a special advisor to the Marine Corps CTO, and as the Chief of Geospatial Intelligence Plans and Policy. During his career he served as a tactical signals intelligence collector, geospatial analyst, targeting analyst, and embedded combat advisor. Since his retirement in 2020, he has worked for the MITRE corporation inside the National Security Engineering Center as a principal autonomous systems engineer supporting Navy, Army, and Special Operations autonomous systems development. He currently resides in Huntsville where he works as the project lead for MITRE support to Army PAE Maneuver-Air and as a technical lead for Army Program Manager C-UAS. He holds a Master of Science in Government Analytics from Johns Hopkins and a Master of Science in Strategic Intelligence from National Intelligence University.
